ASEAN諸国勤務を希望する人への意識調査で、シンガポールが勤務地の希望第1位、タイが第2位に。語学面でのプレッシャーの少なさと土地への順応しやすさを重視しているという調査結果が出た。

 マイナビが運営する転職情報サイト「マイナビ転職」は2015年9月8日、「ASEAN諸国勤務に関する意識調査」を発表した。

 転職意向がありASEAN諸国での勤務に興味のある25~44歳の正社員男女600人を対象にインターネット調査を実施したもの。ASEAN諸国のうち勤務を希望する国を聞いたところ、「シンガポール」が40.5%と最も高く、「タイ」が27.5%と続いた。性別・年齢別で見ると「女性25~34歳」は「シンガポール」勤務を選ぶ割合が高く(50%)、「男性35~44歳」は「シンガポール(36%)」に次いで、「タイ」勤務を希望する割合も高かった(33%)。その国を希望する理由について聞いたところ「シンガポール」は「治安が比較的良いから(55.5%)」を挙げる人が多く、「タイ」では「親日的な国・国民性だから(56.8%)」という意見が多かった。

 ASEAN諸国で勤務する場合に重視するポイントでは「英語もよく通じ、語学面でプレッシャーを感じないこと」が40.3%で最も高く、「社会や文化・風土が気に入り、その土地にすぐに順応できること」が39.5%と続いた。職種別に見ると「経理・財務・法務」では「社会や文化・風土が気に入り、その土地にすぐに順応できること」が51.7%、「サービス・販売・店長職」では「頻繁に日本と行き来できる出張・帰省制度が整っていること」が50.9%と半数を超えるなど、重視するポイントは職種によって差が出ている。

 ASEAN諸国で勤務した場合、その経験をどう役立てたいかを聞いたところ、「現在勤めている会社でグローバル人材としてキャリアを積んでいきたい」が46.3%と最多で、「転職し、グローバル人材としてキャリアを積んでいきたい」は24.2%だった。業種別に見ると「製造・メーカー」は現在の会社でキャリアを積みたい層が62.5%と高く、「医療・福祉・教育」は転職でのキャリアアップを希望する層が38.1%で最多となった。「商社・エネルギー」は「起業し、日本とASEANとを結ぶビジネスを自らの力で創出していきたい」が19.5%と約2割存在し、他の業種と比較して起業志向が高い傾向が見られた。
